Maybe now people will realize just how good he really is. He ate up the Georgia defense with his passing running and more importantly his leadership.
Georgia a supposed top 10 team look like a high school team playing Florida at their second home, in Jacksonville's Alltel stadium... Tebow and the gators are at the top of the SEC and look to be there for some time. [ 11-01-2008, 08:54 PM: Message edited by: catmandoo ]

cmd-I think the game was in Jacksonville, better known as "The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party."

Tebow is playing like a QB now instead of a RB in the QB slot like he did last year.
Tebow has skills, no doubt about it. It will be interesting to see how he performs against players that are every bit as good as he is when he gets to the NFL.
I would have really liked to see Tebow play on a bad Florida team. If for no other reason than to see how he plays when the team situations are reversed.
Of course, he might get drafted by the Bengals or the Chiefs and then we will get to see that.

KC, the game being played in Jacksonville started when the series started in 1915. To clarify though it changes every year. They played last year between the hedges and play there every other year as they do in Jacksonville.

But, what position will Tebow play in the NFL? I don't think he has an NFL arm and certainly won't play running back. Tight end?

Last year's game was in Jacksonville. They never play between the hedges unless they are doing a home and away with Florida where they play in Athens and Gainesville. Otherwise, it is in Jacksonville because that represents a "neutral" site.
There has been some talk of alternating between "neutral" Atlanta and "neutral" Jacksonville or returning to the campuses because of the perceived edge to UF of having the game in Jacksonville but I doubt we will see that happen.
This year, it would not have mattered where the game was held. UGA was too undisciplined and too soft to compete. 4 TOs + stupid onside kick + killer penalties is way too much for this team to overcome against an opponent like Florida.
