It's good for some of the players that don't get a lot of playing time to get game expieriance.

The University of Kentucky will have a junior-varsity game on Monday, Nov. 17 at Commonwealth Stadium against Fork Union Military Academy. Kickoff is set for noon.

UK sophomore running back Moncell Allen played at Fork Union for one season before enrolling at UK, and 2008 signee Donte Rumph currently plays for Fork Union.

The Wildcats have an open date next week before facing the University of Tennessee on Nov. 29.

I played in a JV game against the Wildcats back in '85. I was a member of the Georgetown Tigers football team at the time. (It wasn't pretty!)

I played left Defensive end and MArk Higgs ran over me on a sweep to the offenses right,(My left) I thought I'd been hit by a truck! Needless to say I came out of the game and sat on the side lines for most of the rest of the game!
