In addition to a critical roughing the passer call that led to the game-winning score, Kentucky was flagged three times for roughing the kicker, which led to a pair of touchdowns by the Commodores in the first half. Overall, Kentucky was flagged five times for a loss of 57 yards.

With 5 blocked punts this year and now 3 roughing the kickers in one game(I count the one that ended up not counting only due to an offensive penalty against Vandy that resulted in a do over). Throw in a on-sides kick at Bama that doesnt even give the team a chance because it goes out of bounds and I believe it all adds up to a not so special punting/kicking game (aside from the punter himself). I agree with Davies that it wasnt that Micah was late but that the contact was high. The timing and type penalties that took place were the biggest difference in the game, imo. I hope the open date is beneficial for us to get ready for our trip to Neyland Stadium.
