Lindley will prove this writer wrong as he is better than the 8th best prospect and so will Tebow who is rated the 4th best.
8. CB Trevard Lindley, Kentucky, 5-11, 178, 4.53: Blessed with good speed, better quickness and long arms, Lindley has earned All-American accolades after each of the past two seasons and led the SEC with 15 passes defended in 2008. He enters his senior campaign having already secured the Wildcats record with 34 career pass breakups.
4. QB Tim Tebow, Florida, 6-3, 245, 4.68: If Tebow lacks the skills to play quarterback in the NFL, as some have suggested, count NFL scouts among those who have been fooled. Tebow earned the highest grade of any quarterback from both scouting services (National and BLESTO), and was ranked among the top 10 seniors overall by National. He'll need to show significant improvement as a passer in 2009 to warrant this high of a ranking, but Tebow has the arm, poise and intelligence critical for success at the NFL level.
