With the possible exception of Joakim Hoah, (I would have paid money to see him get his clock cleaned) I never want to see a young kid get hurt in a ball game. I wish a speedy recovery for Tim Tebow. He seems like a classy young man.

I have not heard this discussed on any of the football call-in shows, but I have to question Urban Myers having Tebow in the game at that point. It's late in the 3rd quarter and you're ahead by 27 points, why is Tebow even in the game?

I talked to some friends of mine at church this morning who had seats for the game near the Florida bench and they said Tebow threw up several times on the side-line. The kid was sick, you have a comfortable lead ....... TAKE HIM OUT OF THE GAME, URBAN.

The only reason to have him in the game at that point was to pad his stats. That's "bush league" in my book. I know a lot of coaches do it, but that doesn't make it right.

Here is pretty what the Florida fans think of Tebow..

He's the one guy who is indispensable. He is the poster child for college football. He engages far more people than those with a fixation for all things orange and blue.

He's the one who steadied the Gators when things got rocky after a loss to Ole Miss last season. He's the one who was going to keep the Gators on course this season, in a month devoid of much drama except:

An annoying but entertaining twerp from Tennessee.

Flu bug.

Boredom.

But now, there are elements in the mix:

Panic, perhaps? Concern? Definitely.

If Tebow misses any significant time, he's going to have to dig up another one of those inspirational speeches.

As a man of faith, Tebow knows this much about a Florida team void of his leadership and athletic ability:

The Gators' chances of winning the national title without him are a Hail Mary.

The reason Tim Tebow was in the game is because he is a #1 Candidate for the Heisman. I am a diehard CATS fan but regardles of the score it is OUR responsibility to STOP gators.... His job is to lead his team...

His competititon for the Heisman is Colt McCoy whose Texas team put up 73 points against a nobody......

I don't care what anyone thinks but he needs to be in until you are up by 35 or more....

I would rather see an SEC team win the title and an SEC player win the Heisman... over anyone in the Big12, Big10, or PAC10...... they get all the hype and coverage but the SEC has 5 teams in the Top 15......

I don't wihs an injury on any kid playing sports for their school..... except for Jokin Noah... [Eek!] He annoyed me...

I agree with FlaCatz, but I also think that Urb was trying to run up the score.

I felt no sympathy because when they were up 31-0, he was still throwing down field.

IF it was a dirty play it would bother me. It was just a regular play on a VERY GOOD player. And the entire NCAA football nation held their breath!!

He'll probably start in their next outing!

If he starts the next game with the hit he took his name just might be Clark Kent..
