Greetings Cats, from the Great State of SC. Hope you enjoy your trip down here this weekend. Now enough with the pleasantries. I have to say that I am very concerned about this game from the Carolina prospective. This is a classic set up for a Carolina loss. We come off a big win followed by an easy victory. To face a team that I would say we aren't overwhelmingly better but a team we should beat at home. Your All-SEC caliber Corner is out, your LT may be out. SC has gotten by UK 9 years in a row. It all sets up for USC to win. But I must say with all that in our favor I am a little nervous. In Columbia we have been hearing about this being a "New Carolina" if it is then we must find a way to win this game. Anyway just wanted to give you guys a little perspective on some of the thoughts in Columbia. Wish you all safe travel to the Brice and Go Cocks!!!!

I think it's easy to get nervous with any SEC game. I hate to say it, but I don't see how the Cats can win this game. SC is a very hard place to win at for the visitor, and I don't think the Ol' Ball Coach has ever lost to UK. I think the only thing UK has going for it is the two previous games (UF and Bama) we just played. Playing SC might seem like a load off our backs coming off the two huge losses to top-five teams.

Good luck to the Cocks and I appreciate the well wishes. I just hope its a good game.

We just found out that Warford our other saftey will not be playing as will our all american corner Lindley. I would imagine coach Spurrier is running out of chalk diagramming all the pass plays he will be using now that both corners are out.. [Frown]

I think our only chance we have is if Garcia gets so excited that he drools all over his passing hand and the ball slips out of his hand all night ..

This kinda stuff scares me. You guys lose another starter. This is set up for Carolina to fall. These are the games we often find a way to lose. I hope this is a New Carolina and we find a way to win this game.

COCKDIESEL,

I don't see UK scoring more than 7 points, if that, against the USC defense. Should be an easy win for the Gamecocks. Norwood will scare Hartline to death within the first few minutes of the game.

I think we may see Newton at some point.

But come on if you can score 20 against Bama you can score on us. My prediction on the local radio contest was 28-17 Cocks. I will be ecstatic by an 11 point win.

USC has the second best defense in the SEC IMO behind Florida. Norwood is a beast.
