LEXINGTON, Ky. — When you ask University of Kentucky defensive tackle Corey Peters about UK's rush defense, he looks down like a child who just dropped an ice cream cone. The Wildcats (4-3, 1-3 Southeastern Conference) enter Saturday's home game against Mississippi State (3-5, 1-3) as the league's worst team in stopping the run. They have yielded 174.1 yards per game, ranking among the bottom fourth in the FBS (90 out of 120). This is a significant drop from last year, when they held opponents to an average of 139.2 yards rushing.
