I was also wondering where the U of L fans were. No trip to Morgantown has been without an vocal contingent in red fighting to be heard among the obstreperous Mountaineer throng. But what was there to see? A Cardinal team seemingly allergic to the endzone, a jittery punter who tallied boots of 15, 31 and 22 yards, and a coach who's offensive ingenuity is encapsulated in six-yard tosses to the tight end on third and eight.
Who knows how many fans will turn out for the Syracuse game. Will it be more than those who wasted a wonderful Saturday in West Virginia?
