It's very possible as ukcatfannfl heard him say he had commited to the Cats. Brooks is a very talented running back and would be a huge sign.

Just curious-How can a RB ranked at #109 at his position be a great find?

Bayer, This is what ukcatfannfl (Ed) had to say about him and if anyone would know it's Ed.
3* running back - 5-10 180lbs and fast as lighting not to mention strong. Coach Smith recruited him I believe.
Now if you need more here is what Scout has to say about Travaughn Brooks.
While the Wildcats have had quite a bit of luck in bringing in running back prospects over the last couple of years, acquiring a feature back hasn't been as easy. One player capable of being that back is Florida runner Travaughn Brooks.

Rumor has it that he is having trb with his act/sat scores - probably reason he has not committed..

Ed, hope it works out for him as he sounds like a real good runningback..

Bruce - I thought so at one time but after our game the other night, when we lined up to shake hands after the game, he decided not to do that and went to his locker room. Sore loser?!
p.s. he did come over later on and said bye etc.

Ed, we don't need athletes like that. Brooks wouldn't stand for recruits with attitude problems.

Look at Dion Lewis, the freshman RB for Pittsburgh.
He was rated #150 in STATE of New York. All kinds of colleges passed on him.
He finished up the regular season with 297 carries for 1640 yards and 16 TD's.
Not bad for number 150 in New York.
