8:40 AM: First announcement is set to come from Miles Simpson. This one should get the morning off to a good start.

8:47 AM: The first commitment of the day is in and the ‘Cats land Simon Kenton running back Miles Simpson. Nice pick-up for UK. In-state kid, big strong runner. Lots of effort spent on landing him.

8:53 AM Alvin Davis, a defensive end commitment, will sign with UK at 10 AM per his coach.

9:10 AM The first batch of signees is in according to Eric Lindsey who is handling the signing day blog for UKAA. I really like the new set up with Lindsey letting everyone know what’s going on. He does a great job.

9:16 AM: First batch of signees is in and the first to be reported to the public is Alex Smith, a four-star tight end. Great pick-up obviously for the ‘Cats
