Wonderful....just wonderful. Now the entire nation will get to see the Auburn offense tear us apart and watch our offense implode. It will make for "Must-Not-See TV".

Sorry, but after Saturday's performance, my expectations for this year's team have lowered significantly.

I felt we were heading downhill last year and were lucky to get a bowl. Now we are continuing that route and I figure we'll be hunting a new coach in a couple years. For what good I don't know. I truly have given up on ever seeing a UK team that can go 5-3 in the SEC.

i love my cats but the sooner we accept the fall football schedule as a wonderful time to tail gate, cookout and have a cocktail or two and anticipate the upcoming basketball season the more peace of mind you will enjoy. i don't mean this as derogatory toward our football team but more toward the excellence the sec teams offer.

coach brooks did a heckova job and had us heading in the right direction. UK should have looked to a bigger name coach to fill his position. this would have helped our recruiting and as we all know without athletes you can't compete, especially in the sec.

Have to agree with you as well Steve. I have to accept the fact that the Cats are in a brutal conference and paired in the East with a lot of the best teams in the conference (except this season....Bama, Auburn, LSU and Arkansas are the leagues best).

It is just frustrating as hell getting your hopes up each season only to have them dashed after the non-conference schedule is played. I will still support them, still keep my season tickets and as you said, look at it as a weekly opportunity to tailgate and hang out with other UK fans! [Big Grin]

i thing we can compete in the SEC with the right coaches, that can motivate players, and produce good game plans. These young men are doing the best they can with little help from the coaching staff. Grant you not all of these players our 4-5 star players but you can see some progress. The players our getting tired of losing and that is a good sign. i am tired of these young men being made fun of by the ESPN reporters and other coaches. like Spurrier.Like some one said money talks and maybe can get some better coaches. I have been following Ky football for better than 60 years, there have been many bad times and some good ones, maybe the good times will happen again before i pass on. TRUE BLUE

I didn't realize in College ball you weren't down until touched. Newton can slide 3 yards with his knees down and they give him wherever he stops with the football! UNBELIEVABLE!!

I think the Refs came up with the Auburn players!!

No defense.

It's going to be a long game i'm afraid.

Th refs even give up a turnover without knowing who officailly has teh ball. Where do SEC officials come from? ALabama?

I wish we could say the difference is the refs but the way we are playing we can't.

Our offense shows signs of life.

Cobb runs hard!

We can move the ball on offense but we can't stop Auburn with our defense.

You can't win giving up 31 points in the first half.

Auburn gained 236 yards rushing alone in the first half..

EVERYONE knows (even us fans) that Newton must be contained. But yet we break down and let him run for 150 or so yards. Just amazing to me. Are we that bad on defense that we cant contain him? [Eek!]

Ed, our defense has to get better or we won't win another game.

Auburn scored everytime they had the ball.

Nope. Newton is one tough hombre. They did show a few good signs tonight but not enough to hold their own in the SEC. LSU is now 4-0 after their win over FL tonight. AL lost. It's pretty mixed up now.
