The so called "smart" guys in Las Vegas had the Kentucky/Auburn game as UK being a 6 1/2 point dog going into the game. Well auburn won by only three on a last second FG. How do these oddmakers know going into a game the probable outcome?.

When I first saw the line, I thought it was about 20 points off. But I grew up being around gambling and I know that you can count on Vegas oddsmakers almost as much as anything. Those guys, somehow, can see into the future.

Well I will be honest with you, I was at the game on Saturday and at half time we were totally outmatched, outclassed, outcoached, in every facet of the game. Auburn scored on every single possession in the first half, and went into the endzone untouched on 3 of the 4 touchdowns.
Then in the second half Kentucky's defense DID NOT take over the game. Auburn changed their play calling entirely. They quit letting Newton use his athletic ability and outnumber the defenders and just pick up 8-20 yards a play like they did in the first half. Then with 5 minutes to go in the game on their own 5 yard line, they decide to start going back to what they did in the first half and march the ball down the field and there was nothing we could do about it. Why?
I can understand if we changed our game plan defensively the second half to stop what Auburn was doing, but Auburn changed what they were doing before we ever forced them to.
Auburn was 5-0 coming into that game and knew before kickoff that Alabama had gotten beat which left only one other unbeaten team in the SEC (LSU). If you are Auburn up 31-17 at the half and can put a complete beat down on KY on the road and win convincingly like 58-24 or something like that, why not do it?
I'm convinced after sitting and watching the game on Saturday that there is major gambling going on within the coaching ranks. There is no other explanation to me as to why a team would even let KY stay in the game, and not put a convicing win on the board to put yourself into a chance for a National Championship bid. They have a long way to go to be undefeated with games against AR, LSU, and Alabama left, but if my theory is right, they will lose a game or two along the way because there is too much money on the line.
