Norm, all the so-called experts said that Pryor's hit was totally clean. When he first hit Favre, he hit him sqaure in the sternum and then his helmet slid up towards Favre's chin.

Ridiculous is right. I cannot believe he was fined for that hit. It was absolutely a clean hit.

I'm not surprised. You can't lead with the helmet.

I heard some sports guy state that they need to get rid of the face mask to stop the vicious hits with the helmet. I agree. Hell, you don't see those rugby guys wearing face masks. What are american football players anyway, a bunch of pansies?

If you don't have a helmet up front you could have your neck broke as it could snap back. Looked lean to me.

I don't see that as leading with the helmet. He had him wrapped up. I think of leading with the helmet as when you don't make any effort with your hands at all. If Favre was taller, it never would have happened like that.
