I wonder if he and Joker could not get along? I thought Russell was our best back, period, this year. He was our best back running thru tackles and was plenty fast. He did very well when he was given the opportunity. I am sorry to see him go, as I thought he would have been the best returning back.

IMHO, Sanders should not have been the #2 back. He goes down much too easily.

Word is Russell's mother was not happy with the coaching staff not being honest with him about what their plans were for him.
