Uh-oh.
The immediate charge is disorderly conduct and alcohol intoxication. But there is also a hint of a possible assault charge against somebody, not necessarily Hartline, but the possibility is left open.
There was also a cheerleader involved in the verbal fracas, who was arrested for similar charges, plus possession by a minor and possession of a fraudulent ID.
Yikes. Hope Big Mike didn't jeopardize his chance to play in January.

Wow, that is really hard to believe but alcohol can do strange things. Hartline will have to pay the price and it will be a big one. I can't see how he will be allowed to play in the bowl game, what a way to end your college football career. [ 12-10-2010, 01:47 PM: Message edited by: catmandoo ]

It's sad to see him end a fine college career that way. I know Brooks claimed zero tolerance for that sort of thing. We'll see if Joker will carry the same policy. Too bad. It will be a costly mistake. Hopefully the kid will be able to turn it around and make something good come out of it.

It is not as bad as a DUI. Apparently he got into an argument in a cab ride from a bar. At least they weren't drinking and driving. He is a 5th yr senior so he has to be at least 21 to 23 yrs old.

He's 22 but the Ashley the cheerleader was just 20 with her sisters ID card. I would say that she may be gone from the cheerleading squad. Or at least for some time. [ 12-10-2010, 09:04 PM: Message edited by: Bama Cat ]

Apparantly the chick that they were in an argument with filed assault charges a day later, after not pressing charge the first time around. From what I understand from one report, the case won't even come to court until after the bowl game, so he could be elligible. Anybody can make a charge, it doesn't mean the other person is guilty.
