It didn’t take long for Joker Phillips to come to a decision on the Ridge Wilson issue. Phillips dismissed Wilson from the team this afternoon, following news of the arrest early this morning.

Wilson was set to be “the man” for Kentucky’s defense next season, but instead of getting ready for his senior season of football, he’ll be facing drug trafficking charges from his arrest in Louisville. It’s the classic case of a kid with so much potential who was mixed up with the wrong crowd.

This is the second dismissal in a month. I haven't heard what the other guy did, but Wilson is facing a felony drug charge.

If nothing else, the rest of the team should take notice and stay out of trouble.

I believe both of the players that were kicked off are from the Louisville area. I hope this is the last of the negative news reports that we will have to read about for awhile.

Joker made the correct decision to kick Wilson off the team. The kid has no business being on the team.
