He needs a lot of prayers.

Kentucky safety Ashely Lowery is hospitalized in Georgia with injuries suffered in a car accident Friday night. Wildcats athletic department spokesman Tony Neely confirmed that Lowery is being treated in a hospital but said the school was still gathering details about the accident, where he is hospitalized and his condition.

Lowery played in eight games as a sophomore last season, all starts, and ranked fifth on the team with 43 tackles. He had a career-best nine stops against Vanderbilt and recorded his first career interception that was returned for 21 yards.

I read in the LHL that he was in critical but stable condition.

To look at the car it's amazing he came out of it alive...

Has no broken bones at all. He is still in stable condition. Also no brain damage.

I read an article that said he wasn't wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the car. He was over 100 feet away from the car after he was ejected. The paper also said he had severe injuries spinal I would say because it said he may never walk again. Football aside lets hope and pray this ain't true.

My understanding is he was not wearing a seat belt and the ejection may have saved his life!

Looking at the car I can see why..
