Hmmm... I have seen nor heard nothing yet, but according the the ESPN game tracker, we are already trailing. Time of possession in the first half was 20 minutes for WKU, 10 for UK. Looks like WKU has an effective short passing game, as they have a bunch of yards in the air. UK is winning the ground game, despite only having the ball for 10 minutes.
Hope the second half goes much better.

Not so good, just keep thinking what might happen when we get to SEC play. Hopefully the coachs will get them in the right frame of mind for the second half and we can come back and beat these guys...

Wow. 5 out of 8 passing, for a net of 16 yards.
This is the Air Raid offense?
Yikes!

Man, our weak secondary is killing us. Now, our front four are getting pounded as well.
We really need a good, quick scoring drive to regain some momentum. Right now, WKU has us on our heels.

...of course, our offensive line might compete with our secondary for 'Goats of the game'.
Too many defenders running unblocked into the backfield.

Oh, my. They are running all over us. They get to the edge and are off for 10-15 yards every time.
<sigh>
Same players. Same old players.

Is Maxwell Smith really this Bad I thought he won a Bowl game for us at one time... I surely expected to see him play .... No hi-powered offense here Boss,,,

It's going to be a long year. Our talent level is beyond pitiful. Stoops may want to reconsider this deal. We STINK!!!

It looks like Smith will get his chance, but down 18 is a pretty daunting hole to get out of.

Last year against these guys Smith throws for 332 yards and we get beat in over-time on a trick play. Yikes...

I surely thought we would have seen Smith sooner in the game. I have to say the offense looked better with him on the field, but that was only marginal.
This team is not better than last year and I saw nothing "scheme wise" that was any different either. The fast paced offense did not seem fast paced at all. I saw many "no huddle" snaps where the ball was finally snapped at about 5 to 10 seconds left on the play clock. If you are going to wait that long to snap the ball then the you have effectively castrated the benefits of a "no huddle" fast paced offence. Either run the high octane offense or don't, but get off the fence.
We will win a couple of non conference games against inferior opponents, but I sure hope they have prepared all those future recruits to deal with a very bad season at Kentucky this year and that said recruits do not back out on their commitments.
This is going to be a long season.
