It shows why the SEC is the best conference in the country.

Kentucky fans obviously were thrilled with having Matt Elam pick UK over Alabama. But give Alabama fans who posted at vaughtsviews.com credit for taking the news in a classy way.

“Wish Elam all the best. Sounds like he has his priorities right. Wish Former Tide and Seahawks player Shaun Alexander, another stud Kentucky guy, could have talked to Elam before his decision … Do Well for your team,” was one post.

Then came this from Antonio Adams: “Wish this young man the best at Kentucky. I love by Bama football team and I’m a die-hard Bama fan. Kentucky has done well in recruiting but so has Alabama. He would have been a great addition to the Crimson Tide but he went with his home state. Wish him nothing but the best. Roll Tide roll!”

There is no Bama fan that should be pissy. They have he #1 class in the nation and finish top 5 every year because of Saban.

I live in Alabama, and Bama fans are the worst in the world. IMHO!

Full disclosure- rlt4uk has a son at Auburn. I've lived in Bama since 98 and have met only one truly obnoxious Bama fan. Passionate, yes, but extremely knowledgeable in most cases. I enjoy the UA-AU rivalry. Btw, my youngest daughter will attend Auburn in the fall, but I will forever bleed Blue!
