Coach was smart enough not to talk about what was really on his mind. Smart man!
Mark Stoops didn’t say what was obviously on his mind when asked after Saturday’s 20-10 loss at Missouri about his team’s execution.
“I have to be careful because I’m very frustrated right now, and I don’t want to go off,” Stoops said. “That team was much tougher than us. And they beat us. They beat us in every one-on-one situation.”
Freshman running back Mikel Horton agreed.
“We didn’t execute well enough, there is no excuse for that. We have to practice harder,” Horton said.
