I don't blame him one bit and bet he ends up at a much small program where he has a chance to play.

I think somebody has misread this.

Injuries often times cut sports careers short!

ROB BROMLEY SAID HE WAS TRANSFERING, AND HAD 1 YEAR LEFT TO PLAY, THAT WAS WHAT I WAS GOING ON, IT WAS ON CHANNEL 27 NEWS AT 6 OCLOCK.

That is sad, hate to hear that. He had some great passing stats for the Cats.
486 passes
292 completions for 60% completions.

Looks like the old Green Bean had it right in the first place!

NORM WE WERE BOTH RIGHT , JUST READ DIFFERENT THINGS. AND WE WISH HIM THE BEST. HE WAS A GOOD CAT.

Bean, the problem is, I read both my stories, each saying different things, at the same place! Kentucky Sports Radio. They are usually a pretty good source, but not this time.

NORM MAYBE THEY JUMPED THE GUN, PUT HIM OUT TO PASTURE BEFORE HE WAS READY. LIKE A HORSE. LOL.

I think I saw San Diego State was his destination? Is that right!
Posted by Green-Bean (Member # 13551) on 01-10-2015, 06:51 PM:
YEA THAT IS RIGHT MH.
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 01-10-2015, 09:14 PM:
I hope he will get to play and put up some good numbers like he did for our Cats.

I'm not sure with only 1 season of eligibility left how much playing time he will actually get. I wish him all the luck in the world!

Smith looked like he would be a difference maker at QB, his freshman year. Then he hurt his shoulder and he never got his arm right. I think if he hadn't had that injury, he would have had a great college career.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 01-11-2015, 08:48 AM:
From reading the article it seems he feels the same way. After his shoulder surgeries his arm strength has never been the same!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 01-11-2015, 06:01 PM:
If he is even close to what he did playing for the Cats he will be just fine.
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 01-11-2015, 06:02 PM:
If they are wanting him they must know what shape he is in and it sounds like he will get a chance to play.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 01-11-2015, 07:36 PM:
Is he from that area?
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 01-12-2015, 12:11 PM:
Yes he is from Grenada Hills Florida.
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 01-12-2015, 07:01 PM:
If his arm has healed he will help his team a lot. He has talent and will do just fine if his arm holds up.
Posted by m hamilton (Member # 127) on 01-12-2015, 10:14 PM:
LIke I said, the thing of it is, he has to learn an entirely new offense with new recievers!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 01-12-2015, 10:44 PM:
I just don't see a team offer him to play for them that doesn't have but a year of eligibility if they didn't plan on giving him a good chance to play.
