A little bit of breaking news from Stoops’ presser: former Cal defensive coordinator Andy Buh has officially been hired as UK’s outside linebackers coach. The position was originally open for a special teams coordinator, but Stoops says he’s shuffling some duties around to bring in Buh. Buh will work with the kickoff/punt team, Derrick Ansley will now coach the full secondary with Stoops’ help, and it will be a group effort on special teams.
“It’s a position I was really looking for a specific skill set in that hire, and to bring in someone who can really give us some help in the defensive room,” Stoops said of the decision to bring in Buh.

I'm hoping we can continue getting the most out of our ends as we have in the past!

That seems like a very narrow role for such a highly-touted coach. I wonder why?

TT, I would bet he will be used in a lot of areas with his background and knowledge. Stoops is no dummy and knows he needs help in all areas and will use Buh accordingly. It won't be long and he will have a new title and more responsibilities.
