Absolutely two bad teams playing each other. 5-7 here we come. we won't beat vandy or louisville. It's so frustrating being a UK football fan.

That's why I'm not a football fan. They've never given me any reason to develop an interest in the game.

Bring on basketball. Only 7 more days. It can't come soon enough.

They could be better if Stoops and staff were doing a good job. They're not.
We need a FB coach with an attitude and a mean streak. Stoops seems too nice.

We were duped by a lot of talk. We were going to get a lot of great guys from Ohio. If we did what position are they playing? D line? O line? D back? Don't think it's running back. Lets face it, we were made to think we are improving. As far as I see it we improved last year from the season before but we are doing no better this year than last. Towles is just a big talker. I watch him on the interviews and he talks like the next game is going o be a big improvement. NOT! Stoops is just digging himself a big hole to crawl in when his term is over. I sure thought if we gave him 3-4 years he would have us doing great things. Now that we have a great stadium that a bunch of money was spent on and a new practice facility being built right next to the stadium we'll still have to most likely settle for no bowl game again. We are going to have to be very lucky to win 2 more games. Until we can get a coach who can bring in some 5 star players , which we haven't been able to do, and more 4 star guys we are going to have to settle for being in the SEC basement. Outside of 3 or maybe 4 good SEC teams the SEC overall just sucks this year and we are near the bottom of the suckers.

I will give us the fact that we are a very young football team, but there's no excuse for the effort we've seen the last three weekends, (Or the lack thereof!)

Guys, we went to Bardstown today to meet our new great granddaughter. They have SEC Network, and I saw my first UK game of the year. I'll have to hand it to you faithful fans that watch every game. I don't think I could do it. I guess it's a price we have to pay to have a great basketball team every year. I honestly believe there are high school teams out there that could beat us. We are bad from top to bottom.

I won't say never. But, I will tell you, I am really disappointed with the team. They are not showing any signs of improvement.

Stoops has come out and said that the QB position is up for grabs. I can tell you, I am not sure why they stuck with the starter for so long. The offense is miserable. Flat out miserable.

Glad I don't have to go back to work next weekend at CWS. 2 more weeks will be soon enough for the Charlotte game. I'll be glad when this season is over. I have 3 womens basketball games to work this month and a high school swim meet.

This swim meet will be young kids so there will be no swim suit ogleing. UK has a slim swim meet schedule this year with only 3 meets at UK. I gues if I get many events to work it will be womens bb, gymnastics or indoor track.

This thread is indicative of just how far south the season has gone. Not just basketball, but swimming has taken over the conversation.

It started out with so much promise and now I just don't see where the sixth win is coming from.

We all see the one gimme game......The bowl eligibility hinges on UK beating either Vandy or UL...because the game in between I am already calling it the 5th win....bad way to do math, I know, but to look at the big picture...I am already chalking that one up and we need 1 more.

I think a QB change will give the team a reason for hope. The stars still have to align, no turn overs, no blunders on special teams, no huge plays given up by the D on 3rd and long. Did I leave something out?
