Kentucky needs a win over Louisville Saturday to get to six wins and bowl eligibility. Or does it?
Currently there are not enough teams with six wins to fill the bowl slots. That means depending on what happens Saturday across the country, teams with 5-7 records could get bowl invitations.
So how does Mark Stoops feel about that?
“I don’t right now. I’d hate to comment on that. We desperately want to get six," Stops said. "I don’t want you in here asking me those questions next week. I want to be in here talking about six. So, I don’t want to think about that.”
Stoops said he would not turn down a bowl bid at 5-7 because of the extra month of practice that goes with a bowl invitation.

For this team to get a bowl bid with a 5 and 7 record would be asinine. They should not get a bowl bid even if they beat U of L which does not look likely right now. Poor coaching, poor play calling, poor defense, they are a pathetic football team, win or lose this game.

Totally agree. I was foolish enough to get my hopes up when they led 21-0.

We're both suckers. Should have known that 14 points were given to us. We should have scored no more than 10 points.

I believe they could win a bowl, if they were lucky enough to get one. They have a lot of players injured. I do believe the staff is not the greatest at halftime adjustments, though.
How many times did the QB beat the edge on the defense? It was crazy.
