I'm not really a fan of Chip Kelly but he is a proven winner as a head coach. Fire Stoops and bring in Chip, I say.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Trey,

I especially agree with you that the problem is at the top. However, the contract buy out is so big we are stuck for two more years.

If he stays 2 more years and can't get to a bowl game he can't say he hasn't had a chance. Looking at next years schedule I can't see any more wins than 5 again. Playing at FL, AL, MS, TN and Louisville I don't see a win in any of them. It would have to be an upset for a win. At Home we beat S.MS, NMSt, then lose to SC, maybe beat Vandy, lose to MSSt and GA, beat Austin P. That's about 4 wins with a win over Vandy. We would have to upset 2 SEC teams to get to a bowl. I just don't think we go bowling again. Hope I'm wrong.

The last time we were in a bowl was 2010, the BBVA Compass Bowl and lost to Pittsburg 27-10.

Bama, to be honest 5 wins won't be that bad with the talent we have to play in the SEC.

That loss is Joker's fault. Had he kept his QB on the team, Kentucky would have won that bowl game.

We haven't been to a bowl since Joker left. Wish we had him back! It's been down hill ever since he left.

Joker was a terrible head coach. He was a capable OC, but a terrible HC. His record got worse every year. Barnhart was forced to hire him, because of Rich Brooks and the University President. Had Brooks known that Joker would have fired half of the staff, he would have never backed Joker. He foolishly thought that Joker would keep his blue print in place.

Anybody that thinks that Joker was a solid head coach should go back and look at his won/loss record and not tell anyone else about those kinds of thoughts.
