With just over two weeks until National Signing Day, after hosting some official visitors over the weekend and landing some commitments, Coach Stoops and his staff have hit the road. After last year’s rash of decommitments, they are ensuring this class is solid by paying them a visit.
Pictured above is Stoops, Marrow and Jon Schlarman with OT Luke Fortner last night in Sylvania, Ohio. After seeing Fortner, Marrow and Stoops joined Andy Buh to see future punter (and backup kicker) Grant McKinnis 50 miles south in Findlay, Ohio.
Marrow and Stoops then went another 110 miles south to Dayton for lunch with defensive back Tobias “Cash” Gilliam (left), defensive lineman Kordell Looney (left center), and linebacker Roland Walder (right).
After the lunch visit, Marrow and Stoops spent their evening watching tight end Justin Rigg’s basketball game just a few miles south of Dayton in Springboro, Ohio.
In the last 48 hours they’ve gone from “Almost-Michigan, Ohio” to Dayton, but their adventures in Ohio are probably only halfway done with three commits to go.

Ohio has a gold mine of talent and we already have had a "some" success.

I kinda hate it that verbals don't count for anything in the football world!

Verbals don't mean a darn thing until they sign their name on the dotted line.

They always seem to be firmer on the basketball front, though!
