In the middle of the insanity surrounding Senior Day, Mark Stoops took the opportunity to bring plenty of prospects to campus. Not long after the game was over at Rupp Arena, Austin Dotson was committed to Kentucky.
Dotson is a 6’6″ 295-pound offensive lineman that helped lead Belfry to this year’s 3A State Title. The second team all-state selection committed on the spot after receiving an offer. He also had an offer from Marshall. His counterpart on the offensive line, Cole Bentley, is also being heavily pursued by Schlarman and Stoops.
Dotson has not yet been ranked by any major recruiting service, but the highlights from the Cats’ eighth commitment are still pretty impressive.

Hopefully he will be a steal of a recruit because the only other offer has received is one from Marshall.

He seems to be very efficient in ensuring his man doesn't get close to the ball carrier.

... at least for those plays highlighted on the video.
That is the problem with such promotional videos -- you don't get a full picture. I also hope he is a steal that will play some quality minutes. Lord knows we need it!
