The writing was on the wall for Barker when the Cats signed Touchdown Terry Wilson a few weeks back. Given him taking a backseat to Stephen Johnson after coming back from his injury and lack of production in games he was put in, it was only a matter of time.

Cincinnati is the favored end destination for Barker. He will be close to his NKY home and will have an opportunity to compete for an up and coming Bearcat program.

I wish nothing but the best for him - he is a Kentucky kid and unfortunately his story did not end up the way he imagined.

Redshirt freshman Danny Clark and redshirt sophomore Gunnar Hoak will be back to and they both can play.
