UK needs some good news, that is for sure. UGA has an outstanding QB coming back ad so does Bama. They should be heavy favorites to repeat as their division champs and make a run to the playoff.

I am wondering if the UK program will ever get to where they have depth to play through a whole season. Those two star D guys coming back, helps a lot.

Teams like Bama and Georgia have 5 star guys in the wings to plug into the holes left by Juniors going to the league.

The schedule will not be as easy as it was this last season. So, winning 8 instead of 7, means they have to really improve. No, I will not be happy with 6 or 7 and a crummy bowl.

Hope springs eternal. Next year, if we can shore up our horrible defense and cut our opponents' scoring down by a touchdown per game, that would help a LOT. I have a feeling that the offense will be really solid next year, especially if we can actually play our hotshot freshman QB. We have good RBs, good receivers, and hopefully a more solid o-line.

We'll see, but I just gotta believe we continue to make strides.

You heard it here first. 6 wins or 7 if we can spring an upset on an SEC team.

We beat C.Mich, Murray, SC, Vandy and M.Tenn. at Home. We beat MO Away for 6 wins.

We need to upset one of these games for our win #7: FL, A&M, TN or Louisville. It's not impossible that we could pull 2 upsets for 8 wins. But we could also lose 1 or 2 at home just like we did with FL and MS ST.

I think we'll lose 2 home games to MS ST and GA

I like that all the player's are coming back for their senior seasons, but it's a catch 22. These same player's couldn't stop the run this year and won't be able to next year, that's just my opinion.

I would think playing a year in the SEC and going to a bowl game has to help make all the players that are coming back better in all facets of the game. Time will tell.

.............and just 1 or 2 plays away from winning 2 more. This team is so unpredictable it isn't funny. I see another 6-6 or 7-5 season in 2018. There will have to be an SEC upset or 2 to make this team any better. Who was the last 5 star player we ever had? Or have we ever had a 5 star player?
