Frederick Douglass High School star wide receiver Dekel Crowdus has announced his decision date; May 10th, which is his birthday, according to his Twitter account.
Crowdus staying in Lexington would be a huge get for Stoops and and Marrow, as he would be the first blue-chip commit of the 2021 season.
Crowdus is the No. 247th-ranked player in the nation and the No. 3 player in Kentucky.
But to get Crowdus, Kentucky has some stiff competition. Ohio State, Baylor, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss are all in play for the four-star receiver. But a silver lining? The Kentucky Wildcats are seen as a 100% lock in Crowdus’ crystal ball picks.
If you’ll remember, Crowdus announced his transfer from Frederick Douglass before this past high school season, transferring to IMG Academy in Florida. Crowdus then transferred back to Lexington, and if Kentucky can land him, that might have been a blessing for Marrow.
