KY is now tied with Alabama as the only programs in the country to win 4 bowl games in a row!

KY has now beaten non-conference opponents 16 in a row!

Coach Stoops is just a single win away from topping Bear Bryant as the winningest coach in UK history!

Stoops should be in high demand as a head coach. Hopefully he's not just chasing the money, although I wouldn't blame him if he did.

I was thinking today, could there be a possibility that Stoops could go to Iowa when Frenz retires. When momma calls you have to go according to Bear Bryant.

Thing about it, just like Bear Bryant, Stoops is in the midst of building his own legacy right here in Lexington KY!

I don't think Stoops is ready to leave Kentucky next season as he still has work to do.

No I don't think he will be leaving here any time soon. It was announced tonight on channel 18 that at least 3 of the assistants will now be making over a million a year. This keeps up and we will rival Alabama's payroll.

Honestly, Stoops has accomplished something I really didn't think was possible: UK is now a legitimate SEC football powerhouse. Nobody will look at UK as an "easy win" any more. In fact, we are a threat to win the SEC East on a good year, and be a spoiler on down years.

He has done this the right way -- Focus first on defense, then on the run-game, then add in a passing attack. Basics like toughness (both physical and mental), execution, and tackling. His staff is brilliant, and his players now walk into a game expecting to win.

Go back to any other era in UK football. We have had a couple of really good years under Bear Bryant, a couple of good years under Curci, a couple of decent years under Claiborne, and some hopeful years under Brooks. We had a lot of fun watching the Air Raid, but it was essentially smoke and mirrors, not good football. But now, we have a REAL football team, with solid coaching and an amazing (to me, at least) recruiting pipeline.

I hope Stoops stays... because if he goes, so will most of the staff. He has done something truly remarkable, historical, at UK. I stand amazed.
