Since 2003 an SEC team has won the championship 13 of the 19 times. THERE ARE 5 DIFFERENT WINNERS in those 13 championships. In the 6 years that an SEC team did win the title 4 of those years an SEC team finished 2nd.
Those 5 champions are, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Alabama, and now GEORGIA!
